About Me

I hated PE class at school. I was unhappy in my own skin and last to be picked for team sport. In my career as a political lobbyist and reseracher, my weekends were full of booze, fags and takeaway food.

Luckily that was a very long time ago.

After I had my two children I started to marvel at what my body was capable of. That was when I realised that as well as cooking, delivering and feeding babies, if I put my mind to it, I could lift weights, hold plank position for 6 minutes or run 10 miles, 13 miles, even a whole marathon.

I am a qualified personal trainer (level 3), with an HNC in Fitness, Health and Exercise and HN units in pre- and post-natal exercise, and nutrition. I have an Exercise to Music qualification and have been a dance teacher since 2005.

My specialist area is women's health, especially during pregnancy and after giving birth. As a FooFooFunClub ambassador, I'm passionate about empowering women to address the difficulties we may have with our bodies so that we can live happier, unlimited lives.
